UPDATE: Route 29 north reopens after earlier crash in Pittsylvania County

UPDATE 5:20 p.m.: VDOT says the crash that was blocking a section of Route 29 north in Pittsylvania County has been cleared.

Traffic is said to be moving normally in this area.


PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – A vehicle crash has shut down the northbound side of Route 29 near Dry Fork in Pittsylvania County.

According to VDOT, the crash is located in the area of Snakepath Road (Route 718).

Drivers can expect significant delays if traveling in this area.
