DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Pittsylvania-Danville Health District will conduct a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday at Averett University.
According to the health district, the event will take place at the university’s E. Stuart James Grant North Main Campus — located at 707 Mount Cross Road in Danville — between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Dec. 4.
The clinic will offer first and second doses of the coronavirus vaccine, as well as booster doses, for free.
Vaccines offered to those age 18 and older will be the Moderna and the single-dose Johnson & Johnson. The Pfizer vaccine is available for anyone age five and older, but a parent must accompany anyone under the age of 18.
Those 18 and older who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least six month ago or received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago will be allowed to receive a booster dose at the clinic.
Walk-ins are welcome; however, you are still strongly encouraged to register in advance — especially for the pediatric doses — using the links shared below:
- Johnson & Johnson (single dose)
- Moderna (first, second, or third/booster dose)
