HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Henry County Department of Public Safety is investigating a mobile home fire that occurred in Collinsville early Friday morning.
Fire Officials tell WFXR News that the call came in around midnight for reports of a trailer fire on the 10 block of Ferncreek Drive on March 17. At the scene, firefighters found a mobile home fully involved in flames with the fire spreading to three surrounding mobile homes.
Crews immediately began fighting the blaze and the fire was extinguished.
Two men suffered from burn injuries one was airlifted to the Baptist Burn Center for treatment. The second victim refused treatment at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but Fire Marshall Lisa Garrett told WFXR News that three of the homes were destroyed and one sustained damage.
