South Boston Police seeking clothes for “Santa Cops Kids”

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WFXR) — The officers of the South Boston Police Department not only protect their community, but they also serve their community through charity.

After a productive No-Shave November fundraiser and a successful toy drive, the department has decided to continue the momentum by starting a clothes drive for children in need.

Members of the community can donate new or gently used clothing items at the South Boston Police Department from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 13.

Here is a list of sizes needed for the selected children:

Boys:

  • Coats: small, medium, large, extra large, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6, 6/7, 8/10, and 10/12
  • Shirts: medium, large, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6, 6/7, 8/10, 10/12, and 12
  • Pants: 3T, 5T, 6, 6/7, 7/8, 8/10, 9/10, 14 husky, 31×30, and 36×32
  • Shoes: 2, 3.5, 4, 5, 6c, 7/7.5, 10, 10c, 12 med., and 13.5

Girls:

  • Coats: small, medium, 3T, 4/5, 5/6, 6/7, 7/8, 8, 18/20, and 22/24
  • Shirts: small, medium, 3T, 4/5, 6/7, 7/8, 8, 18/20, and 22/24
  • Pants: 3T, 3, 4/5, 5, 6/7, 7/8, 8, 18/20, and 22/24
  • Shoes: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 8.5/9, 10, 12, and 13
