Shooting leaves at least one man injured

Roanoke City Police are investigating a shooting that left at least one man injured.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. Thursday outside a home in the 800 block of Jamison Avenue S.W. 

As officers were responding, they got another call that the victim had ran to the 700 block of Bullitt Avenue S.E. 

That victim has been identified as 21-year-old Tyreze Witherspoon. 

Officers said he had a gunshot wound to his arm and was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
