BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) — After responding to three other calls since midnight, the firefighters of Bedford still had the energy to battle a heavy shed fire on Friday morning.

The Bedford Fire Department says that units responded to a shed fire at 3420 Dickerson Mill Road around 8:46 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. The first crew on the scene reportedly found a small, single-story, wood building engulfed in flames.

The department says another unit arrived at 8:51 a.m. and launched a fire attack before two more vehicles arrived to assist with the overhaul.

According to the Bedford Fire Department, all units cleared the scene by 10:15 a.m.
