ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WFXR) – On Monday, Aug. 24, Senator Mark Warner will hold three social-distanced community check-ups with local leaders – which includes stops in Pulaski, Wytheville and Roanoke.
The first local event will take place at the Bolling-Wilson Hotel Ballroom in Wytheville at 1:15 p.m.
The second local event takes place at 20 South Washington in Pulaski at 3 p.m.
Then, Senator Warner will visit the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 115 in Roanoke at 5:30 p.m.
In Wytheville and Pulaski, Warner will discuss the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis and the steps needed for our economy to recover.
At the Blue Ridge Parkway, Warner will meet with business and conservation leaders to discuss the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act which will fund $1.1 billion in maintenance needs at Virginia National Parks and will also bring 10,000 jobs to Virginia.
