According to the Bedford County General District Clerk’s office, Mark Turner, a man accused of shooting three people then barricading himself inside a home in Bedford County, was denied bond on Monday.

Search warrants obtained by WFXR News, multiple cell phones and guns were seized as part of the investigation, as well as a wooden baseball bat, “green potted plants,” and drug paraphenalia.

Turner is charged with felony malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of an illegal substance after he shot three people in the 100 block of Sheperd Lane.

Two victims told officers on scene of possible drug activity at the residence. Victims also made statements against “their own final interest,” according to search warrants.

Turner was charged with distribution of methamphetamine back in 2003.

He will be in court again on July 5 at 1:30 for a preliminary hearing.
