With Vinton’s Dogwood Festival approaching, the call for vendors has begun

VINTON, Va. (WFXR) — It’s inching closer — the 66th annual Vinton Dogwood Festival.

The date for the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, and festival organizers are asking for festival vendors.

Those selling handmade crafts, non-profit and professional food vendors, businesses, retail and non-profits are all welcome to sign up.

The Vinton Dogwood Festival is a spring tradition in the Roanoke Valley. This year, the festival will feature activities for all ages including a craft show, crowning of the dogwood queen and court, live entertainment on two stages, a children’s area, and food and business vendors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 24.

Information and application submission can be done online.

Applications can also be mailed, emailed or picked up and dropped off at the Vinton War Memorial.
