Virginia Museum of Transportation welcomes Summit Driving Tour from The Greenbrier Resort

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Museum of Transportation (VMT) has announced the Summit Driving Tour will take place Friday afternoon from The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, to their downtown location.

The Driving Tour is the official kick-off event for the Greenbrier Concours d’ Elegance.

As part of The Summit Driving Tour’s scenic drive from The Greenbrier to Roanoke, they will be making a stop at the Virginia Museum of Transportation for one hour on Friday, April 30 at 2 p.m.

The spirited drive features incredible views, elevation changes and historic locations as participants explore some of the most exciting driving roads the region has to offer.

After the ride through the mountains, drivers will return home on a different winding road, testing the power and precision of their vehicles while enjoying the company of other auto enthusiasts.

VMT encourages the public to visit the museum for a chance to see some spectacular vehicles to celebrate the automobile and its rich tradition.

Cars will be parked in front of the museum. No admission is required to view the automobiles.

The Virginia Museum of Transportation will be open the public with standard admission rates.
