UPDATE 5:40 P.M. BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Forest Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident off US-460 on Thursday afternoon.
A pickup truck allegedly rear-ended a tractor on the main road. The driver of the tractor was transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
All westbound lanes were closed near Blackwater Road for a period of time.
The condition of the driver is unknown at this time. WFXR News will update you if more information becomes available.

UPDATE 3:40 P.M. BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation shares that the vehicle crash has been cleared and all lanes are open as normal.

All west lanes are closed near Blackwater Road. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes at this time.
