ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Online records indicate that a man connected to a deadly June 2022 shooting has pled guilty.
WFXR had previously reported on this shooting that occurred on Williamson Road on June 3rd, 2022. The then 29-year-old, Keandra Smith was charged in connection with the incident. Smith was convicted of killing Grover Edwards, whose family says the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident.
Smith has since pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, and on Wednesday, June 19, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison with eight years and six months suspended. Smith will also serve five years of probation.
