United Express plane from Chicago diverts to Roanoke due to pressurization problem

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A plane with United Express has made an emergency landing at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Aiport Tuesday afternoon.

Flight UA3542 was traveling from Chicago to Norfolk when there was a report of a problem. The plane then diverted to the Roanoke Airport for a pressurization problem. According to Flight Aware, the flight was leaving from Chicago around 10:42 a.m. CST and landed in Roanoke around 1:12 p.m. EST.

A spokesperson with the Roanoke Airport says that there were no injuries. WFXR News was also told that the plane is being repaired and arrangements are being made for passengers headed to Norfolk.

United Express is a regional brand of United Airlines and flies across North America, serving destinations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
