U.S. Postal System to hold career fairs in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) –Looking for a new job? The month of March is your chance to post up on a new career with the U.S. Postal Service at one of four job fairs in Roanoke.

The events will be held at the Virginia Career 3601 Thirlane Road NW, Ste 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the dates shown below:

March 1
March 8
March 22
March 29

Full-time and part-time positions need to be filled immediately and USPS personnel will be on-site each day to assist potential applicants, provide detailed information, and answer questions.

Applicants must be 18 years of age to apply and be able to pass drug screening, as well as a criminal background investigation. Potential applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
