UPDATE 2/4 10:41 AM: ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke Police Department says three teens were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds on Friday, Feb. 3.
Police were called out in reference to a person with a gunshot wound in the 1000 block of 22nd Street NW at approximately 8:35 p.m. While responding to the scene they received another call regarding another victim being transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Officers say when they arrived at the scene on 22nd Street NW they located a juvenile male inside a home suffering from what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The juvenile at the scene was then transported by Roanoke Fire-EMS to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
RPD says officers responded to the hospital to find two more juvenile males both of which had what appeared to be non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They were located in the back of a personal vehicle.
After an investigation officers located evidence of a shooting and say all three teens were injured at the 22nd Street NW address.
RPD says details about what led to the shooting are limited and the incident is still under investigation. No arrests have been made. Police ask anyone in the community with information to contact them at 540-344-8500 or text them at 274637, and begin the text with “RoanokePD”.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke City Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent two teenagers to the hospital Friday night. Those teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries according to a field supervisor.
Law enforcement set up a perimeter on 22nd Street NW, between Carroll Avenue and Mercer Avenue. They cleared the area around 10:30 p.m. according to a WFXR News reporter at the scene.
Law enforcement says they did not identify a suspect at the scene. They add there is no danger to the public.
