BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two people were brought to the hospital after first responders in Botetourt County were sent to handle a multi-vehicle crash — as well as a vehicle fire — Monday morning.

According to the Botetourt County Department of Fire and EMS, crews were dispatched to the intersection of Roanoke Road and Country Club Road on Monday, Aug. 16 for reports of a vehicle crash with a car on fire.

The first units to arrive at the scene found three vehicles involved in the crash, including one with heavy flames, the department says.

Even though all of the occupants were out of the vehicles when units arrived, fire officials say two occupants were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
