Two displaced after Saturday fire in northeast Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Two people are displaced due to a Saturday afternoon fire in northeast Roanoke.

According to Roanoke Fire-EMS, crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of Williamson Road NE for a fire shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.

However, when units arrived at the scene, they quickly knocked down the small fire.

While there are no reports of injuries, fire officials say two residents will be displaced because of the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to the department.
