Train slams into semi-truck, spilling paper on Norfolk Southern Avenue in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Police responded after a train slammed into a semi-truck Thursday afternoon, spilling paper on Norfolk Avenue.

Police say a driver who was hauling paper got stuck on the train tracks on Thursday, Aug. 12.

Witnesses tell WFXR News that the driver of the semi-truck couldn’t get out of the way of the train because a driver in front of the semi-truck was stopped.

No one was hurt. Police are investigating this incident.
