ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Tuesday morning.

According to police, they received multiple 911 calls involving two individuals who were shooting, as well as two vehicles being rammed into each other in the Peters Creek Apartment Complex on South Barrens Road at around 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 18.

When officers arrived and spoke with subjects and witnesses, they arrested Alisha S. Cooper, 33, of Roanoke.

Cooper is charged with two counts of attempted malicious wounding and possession of a firearm, ammunition by a convicted felon.

Also, Calvin Williams, Jr., 38, from Roanoke, is being charged with attempted malicious wounding and possession of a firearm, ammunition by a convicted felon.

Cedell Allen, 37, of Roanoke County was also arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Officers say they used a K9 along with multiple officers who were not able to find the firearms reportedly used in the incident.

They returned the next morning to continue the search.

Due to the close proximity of citizens and children who reside at the nearby Peters Creek Apartment Complex, Roanoke County Police says that if the public locates any of the alleged weapons to not touch them and just call 911.
