ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — We all experience in some form, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional, but how do you handle this tension in your life?
Since April is Stress Awareness Month, Valarie Angle — the owner of The WellNest Roanoke, a holistic wellness network — joined WFXR News’ Hazelmarie Anderson on “Good Day Virginia” to demonstrate healthy ways to cope and reduce stress.
The WellNest connects members of the Star City community to local holistic wellness experts, including the following, who demonstrated their de-stressing methods for us:
- Yvette LeFlore, a Reiki master and crystal clinician who helps people decompress from the stressors in their lives and bring their bodies, minds, and spirits into harmony
- Cobb Dixon, who teaches private and group classes in Tai Chi and Qi Gong in various locations in Roanoke and Danville
- Linda Bailey, the owner of Total You Health, which offers several modalities for stress management, pain relief, and more, including red light therapy
