THAXTON, Va. (WFXR) — Explore 66 acres of land at the first annual art and wine festival at The Peaks on June 10.
The Central Virginia Business Coalition is helping put on the event in Thaxton at The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center.
From 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, the festival will feature local wineries, showcase art from vendors in the area, and highlight the best music and food Central Virginia has to offer.
The following wineries will be featured at the festival:
- Fables and Feathers Winery
- Virginia Mountain Vineyards
- Mattaponi Winery
- Rebec Vineyards
- and several more!
The following art vendors will be highlighted:
- Creations by Kelli
- Forest Splinters Threads
- Dante’s Spirit – Handmade Originals by Wolf SilverOak
The whole family will be entertained with live music performances and a kid’s zone with activities. Come hungry, because two food trucks, Porter House Grilling, and Watts Poppin, will join in on the fun too!
General admission tickets are $25 and can be purchased online here or at the door for $30. VIP tickets are available for pre-purchase at $40 per ticket. Guests 13-20 years old, as well as designated drivers, can purchase tickets for $10 at the door. Children 12 and under get in for free.
