ROANOKE, Va (WFXR) — All week long, we are talkin’ tacos— for WFXR’s Taco Week!

Each day leading up to the first-ever Roanoke Taco Fest, WFXR News will highlight one of the many food vendors participating in the event.

Proceeds from Taco Fest benefit Roanoke-based nonprofit, Huddle Up Moms, which aims to empower women to prioritize their wellbeing and connect mothers to resources they need to be happy, healthy, and confident.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Tuco’s Taqueria’s manager and chef — Jo Jo Soprano and Sam Aguilera — visited WFXR News’ Community Kitchen to show off their tacos of the Roanoke Taco Fest.

Roanoke’s first Taco Fest runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 in Elmwood Park. Tickets can be bought online for $12 or at the gate for $15. Children aged 12 and under are free to attend.
