‘Stomp the Violence’ Fall Festival set for Saturday in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A non-profit organization is shedding a light on the ongoing efforts to help reduce gun violence in Roanoke.

Youth Enrichment Services of Southwest Virginia is hosting a “Stomp the Violence” Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 13. Community members are hoping to encourage the youth to make a change.

The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. at the Paradise Cathedral on Melrose Avenue.
