Spooks, frights, and scares at the “Blue Ridge Nightmares” haunted attraction coming this fall

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — This fall be prepared to be frightened. The Center in the Square will transform a giant warehouse into a Halloween-themed attraction.

“Blue Ridge Nightmares” haunted attraction will have its own city filled with characters and specific attractions for thrill-seekers.

“Blue Ridge Nightmares is an exciting, entertaining, fun, and educational series offered by Center in the Square. Joining Illuminights as a fun family, community event, Blue Ridge Nightmares has something for everyone with a full immersion theatre experience that was planned, built, and executed by Anthony Giordano, a Hollywood “magic maker” who’s worked on multiple Academy Award-nominated movie teams and more. Anthony’s skills in makeup, special effects, prop construction, and costuming have found a home here in Roanoke, Virginia at Center in the Square” Jim Sears, President for Center in the Square. 

The event opens in October and ticket holders can enjoy the frights each weekend. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Center in the Square website. All proceeds go will help support the work of Center in the Square.
