UPDATE: Bent Mountain Road in Roanoke County reopens after earlier crash

UPDATE 5:35 p.m.: Roanoke County Police say that a section of Bent Mountain Road that was closed from an earlier crash has been reopened.

Authorities say that the investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.


ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – A section of Bent Mountain Road is currently closed due to a a two-vehicle crash.

Police say the closure is between Landmark Circle and Mt. Chestnut Road.

According to police, the two drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
