Roanoke Police investigating after overnight shooting along Orange Avenue

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — An investigation is underway after police responded to a shooting in northeast Roanoke early Tuesday morning.

According to the Roanoke Police Department, word came in at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31 about multiple shots fired at a business in the 600 block of Orange Avenue NE.

There are no reports of injuries resulting from this shooting, but there was property damage at the business. In addition, police say they found evidence of a shooting at the scene.

Authorities say they did not find any suspects at the scene and have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
