ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Regional Partnership is looking for four up-and-coming artists to add life and color to their boardroom.

Each mural will represent one of Roanoke Regional Partnership’s four tenets: 

(1) Economic growth and innovation
(2) Livability
(3) Commercial real estate and infrastructure
(4) Talent attraction

Artists who are interested should reach out to lisa@roanoke.org immediately, indicating their interest in which theme they would like to submit. Mockup designs, which should be on 2’x2′ panels, must be submitted by midnight on Wednesday, June 21.

Those who are selected to complete the project will be notified by Friday, June 23, and assigned their tenet.

Each of the four murals will be 5’x5′. Selected muralists will be responsible for working on their pieces in their own space. All murals should be completed by July 7. Artists will be paid $1,200 per panel.

Roanoke Regional Partnership notes that all artists will be responsible for supplying their own paint, but the canvas itself will be provided or reimbursed.
