ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Following multiple reports about potential threats against public schools in the Star City, officials from Roanoke’s school district and law enforcement agencies held a news conference Friday afternoon.

Roanoke City Police Chief Sam Roman, Roanoke City Sheriff Antonio Hash, and Roanoke City Public Schools Superintendent Verletta White were at the briefing to discuss how the district and authorities respond to possible threats against schools.
