ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — WFXR News is looking ahead to 2021’s “Roanoke Valley Gives,” a 24-hour fundraiser hosted by the Foundation for Roanoke Valley to raise money for more than 150 non-profits.
Encircle is just one of those many nonprofits benefitting from Roanoke Valley Gives. Melissa Leecy, Director of Philanthropy for Encircle, joined WFXR News live for an interview on Tuesday, March 9.
Roanoke Valley Gives kicks off at 12 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10.
Their goal for the 24-hour fundraiser is to reach and beat $900,000.
