ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke County commuters are backed up for miles along I-81 North because of a wreck Wednesday afternoon.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says the northbound left shoulder and left lane are closed at mile marker 143 on I-81.
Motorists are currently delayed for approximately four miles along I-81 North due to this Roanoke County vehicle crash, VDOT says.
