ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Due to a water issue in the area, the Roanoke County Public Safety Center administrative offices for the Police, Fire & Rescue, and Communications & IT Departments will be closed to the public on Monday.

According to officials, personnel with the Roanoke County Police department and the Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Department will operate from the field without any interruption in service.

Meanwhile, the 911 dispatch will also continue operations with no interruption in service.

If you need to conduct any in-person business at the Center, you are asked to call after Monday to find out if the building is open.

You can check for more updates on the Roanoke County website and Facebook page.

This announcement comes after Glen Cove Elementary School delayed opening by two hours because of a water main break in the Roanoke County neighborhood.
