Roanoke County Public Library offers curbside trick-or-treating this week

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Libraries across Roanoke County will be providing some sweet treats to curbside trick-or-treaters up through Halloween.

According to the Roanoke County Public Library, if you come by one of the libraries in costume, you will receive a mystery bag of goodies through the “treat chute.”

In addition, you can get your picture taken for the library’s social media by stepping out of the car.

The library says the curbside events — which are scheduled as follows — are open to trick-or-treaters of all ages, no registration necessary.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Hollins from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 29, at South County from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 30, at South County from 10:30 a.m. to noon
  • Saturday, Oct. 31, at Vinton from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 31, at Glenvar Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the words of the Roanoke County Public Library, “Be ready for a spooktacular time!”
