Roanoke County Police warn of thefts from vehicles, auto thefts in the Buck Run area

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Multiple thefts have occurred in the Buck Run area of Roanoke County, according to the Roanoke County Police Department.

The department wants to make residents aware of thefts from vehicles and auto thefts in the area.

Two vehicles that were stolen were left unlocked and had the keys left inside.

Officers are reminding residents to lock their vehicles, keep valuables out of the vehicle or hidden, and never leave a firearm in an unlocked vehicle.
