Roanoke County officials to hold 2021 ‘State of the County Address’ Wednesday morning

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke County community members are invited to join the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce for the annual State of the County Address on Wednesday morning.

According to officials, Board of Supervisors Chair Jason Peters will update the business community on the county’s accomplishments in the past and plans for the future.

Other topics that are set to be mentioned in the address include education, innovation, and economic development projects around Roanoke County.

In addition, the county says that Roanoke County School Board Chairman Jason Moretz will provide an update on the school district.

You can also watch the address starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Roanoke Valley Television (RVTV) or the Roanoke County YouTube channel. The event will also be replayed on RVTV Cable Channel 3 at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12 and 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14.
