UPDATE: Roanoke County crash cleared, US-220 North reopened Monday morning

UPDATE 10:32 a.m.: VDOT says crews have cleared the scene of Monday morning’s wreck in Roanoke County and reopened U.S. Route 220 North.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Monday morning motorists may want to seek an alternate route due to a vehicle crash blocking off U.S. Route 220 North in Roanoke County.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says the northbound left lane and right lane are closed on U.S. Route 220 near Spotswood Drive and Route 677.

There is no word of any backups at this time, but VDOT says delays are expected.
