Roanoke City Schools to offer meals to students on weekends

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke City Public Schools, along with SodexoMAGIC, a company owned by NBA Hall-of-Famer Magic Johnson, has announced that together, they are offering meals to students on weekends.

According to a social media post, each Thursday, parents and guardians can pick up breakfast and lunch meals for Saturday and Sunday. The meals are also available by bus delivery on Thursdays.

Pick-up locations for these meals take place on Thursdays at the following locations:

  • Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:
    • Fallon Park Elementary School
    • Round Hill Elementary School
    • Patrick Henry High School
    • William Fleming High School
  • Between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.:
    • Patrick Henry High School
    • Wiliam Fleming High School
