Roanoke City Manager says, when it comes to COVID-19, we’re ‘nearly normal’

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — In a blog released Monday, the Roanoke City Manager says that we are nearly back at normal when it comes to COVID-19.

In the blog post from Monday, May 10, Bob Cowell, Roanoke’s City Manager, says that with school having gone virtual, a number of events being cancelled, lots of people were working from home and face masks being a part of the daily ritual, restrictions gradually being lifted are a sign that things are returning back to normal.
