Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport to host local author, former flight attendant for book signing

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport will host local author and former flight attendant Sharon Williams for a book signing.

In her book ‘Life at 36,000 Feet,’ Williams shares answers to many aviation-related questions. She explains passenger behavior, how to handle sensitive situations, and describes the humorous and inspirational challenges she has encountered during her time as a flight attendant.

The event will take place Friday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held at the Hudson News on the second level of the concourse, before the security checkpoint.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
