ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – It’s back for a second year! It’s Roanoke’s Deck the House Holiday Lights Contest.
This online contest highlights the best Christmas/holiday decorations in the Star City.
If you or your neighbor has an awe-inspiring display of lights and decorations, you are asked to send a photo for that house to be entered into the contest.
Each week, leading up to Christmas, the Roanoke City officials will hold a bracket-style face-off.
The contest officially begins on Saturday, Nov. 28 and the winner will be chosen the week of January 4.
Photos can be submitted either through the City’s Facebook Messenger page or by emailing neighborhoods@roanokeva.gov.
