ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — There’s something new brewing at the Barrel Chest on Franklin Road in Roanoke — and it has local ties.
The beer and wine store recently released “Soft Hands.” It’s an open-top wine-barrel fermented wild ale brewed with local Traminette grape juice and aged in a white wine barrel for 18 months.
It is said to have orange petal, lychee, pineapple, and rosewater aromas.
You can get it on draft or in bottles.
