ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Get ready to put on your cowboy boots and check out all the sites and sounds of Music City!

Allegiant Airlines is offering non-stop flights from Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) to Nashville International Airport (BNA) starting on Thursday, April 21.

“We’re thrilled to offer Roanoke vacationers a nonstop flight right into the heart of country music,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning. “We know customers will enjoy Allegiant’s convenience and affordability when arranging their travel plans.”

These flights will be offered twice weekly at a one-way low base airfare cost of $33.

On Thursday, the Roanoke airport will have a gate celebration for those departing to ‘Nashvegas’ with cake and a performance by Woody Woodworth and the Piners. Passengers flying into Roanoke will be given gift bags promoting the area.
