VSP issue Senior Alert for missing woman from southwest Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Both the Roanoke Police Department and the Virginia State Police are on the lookout for a missing senior last seen leaving her home in southwest Roanoke on Friday.

According Virginia State Police, 81-year-old Harriet Guion Hodges — described as being 5’3″ tall, weighing about 125 pounds, and having brown eyes and gray/white hair — was last seen leaving her home in the 2200 block of Windsor Avenue SW around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19.

Police say she was last seen wearing white pants and a purple jacket, adding that usually walks with a cane.

Hodges is also said to have dementia.

If you see her, you are asked to call 911 or the Roanoke Police Department at (540) 853-2212.
