Police release bracelet photos to help identify man found dead in Roanoke County last year

Roanoke County Police Department released these photos of a bracelet in hopes of identifying man found dead.

ROANOKE CO., Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke County Police Department is asking for help identifying a man found dead on July 28, 2021.

According to the department, officers responded to the Niagara Dam where someone had discovered a man’s body. No identification was found and investigators have not been able to identify him through fingerprinting or DNA.

The man is said to be approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 174 pounds with gray or blond hair color.

Investigators released two photos of a bracelet with charms that the man was wearing. The hope is that it will help investigators identify him.
