ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hurt in southeast Roanoke overnight.
On Sunday, June 26, at approximately 12:05 a.m., the Roanoke Police Department says word came in about a person who had been shot in the 100 block of Campbell Avenue SE.
Responding officers found a man on the ground in a parking lot with what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Roanoke Fire-EMS brought the man to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Details about what led to the shooting are limited at this time, but police tell WFXR News that no arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation.
