Police investigate shooting in Southwest Roanoke, four injured

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Roanoke responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 1400 block of Rorer Avenue SW on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Roanoke Police Department, while responding to the shots fired report around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, officers were notified that there was a victim with a gunshot wound in an area residence.

Officers also located three other victims on the scene.

Police say Roanoke Fire-EMS transported all four victims to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

There is no word on the condition of any of the victims in the shooting.
