Petition circulating against proposed development in Roanoke

Roanoke Valley News

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Concerned neighbors are pushing back against a proposed development on Brandon Avenue.

R. Fralin Construction is looking to build a 54-unit apartment complex along with townhomes in the area.

A petition that’s circulating online has gathered more than 400 signatures from those who are against the development.

The project was to be heard by the planning commission sometime in the upcoming weeks; however, the developer has delayed that hearing until August.
