Organizers move Winterfest Beach Bash to September; tickets go on sale on Monday

SALEM, Va. (WFXR) — After being postponed back in January due to the pandemic, “Winterfest Beach Bash” has been moved to Sept. 4.

This year’s event will feature a 1920s Great Gatsby theme and the “Band of Oz” will perform at the Salem Civic Center.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Monday, July 26 at the Salem Parks & Recreation Department. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

You can purchase the tickets over the phone at (540) 375-3057. There are no online sales for this event. Tickets can be picked up at the Civic Center Will Call window.

For more information on the event please call the Salem Parks and Recreation Department. Doors open at 6 p.m. and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Penguin Club’s Community Service projects.
