ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are investigating after a person was found in northwest Roanoke Saturday night with a gunshot wound.
According to the Roanoke Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, for an aggravated assault in the 1100 block of Loudon Avenue NW.
When police arrived on scene, they found a person with a single gunshot wound. First responders reportedly transported the victim to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of what appeared to be a non-life-threatening injury.
