Officials remind Roanoke County residents of approaching real estate tax deadline

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Residents in Roanoke County are being reminded of an approaching deadline.

The second half of real estate taxes are due by the close of business on Monday, Dec. 6.

Drop boxes are installed for check payments only at the following locations:

  • Roanoke County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive in Roanoke
  • Hollins Library, 6624 Peters Creek Road in Roanoke
  • Glenvar Library, 3917 Daugherty Road in Salem
  • Vinton Library, 300 South Pollard Street in Vinton

Payments through the mail must be postmarked by Dec. 6.

Residents may also pay online using a credit card or an e-Check (fees apply) by visiting roanokecountyva.gov/paytaxes.

Payments may also be made over the phone using a credit card (fees apply) by calling 1-844-654-0006.
