ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The nonprofit organization Total Action for Progress (TAP) is holding a job fair in Roanoke on Tuesday to fill a wide variety of positions, from delivery drivers and crew technicians to education coordinators and enrollment specialists.
This job fair is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Dumas Center Auditorium, which is located on the second floor of 108 1st Street NW.
According to the Facebook event description for TAP’s job fair, the following employment opportunities will be available, with some centered in the Roanoke Valley or the Alleghany Highlands:
- Classroom substitute
- Crew technician
- Delivery driver/food service helper
- Early head start childcare partnership supervisor
- Education coordinator
- Enrollment specialist
- Family development specialist
- Family services coordinator
- Food service/transportation aide
- Health aide
- Home based coordinator
- Home visitor
- HVRP employment specialist
- Maintenance assistant
- Project Discovery Program Coordinator
- Special Needs assistant
- TAP Books associate
- Teachers’ assistant
- Temp administrative assistant
- Whole Family case manager
